All throughout June, we're introducing brand new classes and putting creative twists on your favourites. For every class you attend, your instructor will give you a ballot to fill out for the Find Your Fit Raffle — your chance to win fun Y prizes for participating.

Clarence-Rockland YMCA

Cardio Box and Flow​ | Thursdays at 7 a.m.

Enjoy 25 minutes of dance, followed by 25 minutes of yoga stretching tailored to cardio boxing movements.

Dance and Tone​ | Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

A high-energy workout that combines aerobics choreography with strengthening exercises to improve muscle strength, endurance and functionality using a variety of equipment.

Drums Alive​​ | Mondays at 11:15 a.m.

Unleash your inner rockstar with Drums Alive—a fun and dynamic workout that combines cardio, rhythm, and drumming on stability balls. Set to energizing music, this class boosts coordination, burns calories, and lifts your mood with every beat. No drumming experience needed—just bring your energy.

Fitness Barre​​ | Thursdays at 9 a.m.

This ballet-inspired class uses the barre and classic ballet music to provide a full-body stretch and strength workout.​

Kickbox Intervals​ | Wednesdays at 8 a.m.

Enjoy a blend of cardio boxing and bootcamp intervals, using the step and dumbbells.

Tabata​​ | Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Push your limits with a high-intensity Tabata workout—20 seconds of all-out effort followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated for multiple rounds. This fast-paced, full-body workout is designed to boost your endurance, burn calories, and build strength!​

Yoga Variation​ | Tuesdays at 11 a.m., Fridays at 6:30 p.m.

Enjoy a variety of yoga classes, from traditional meditation to fun ‘80s pop-inspired sessions!

Zumba Burst and Glutes​​ | Tuesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 7 p.m.

Get ready to sweat with Zumba Burst and Glutes—a high-energy combo of short dance cardio bursts and targeted glute work. Shake it to upbeat rhythms, then sculpt and strengthen your lower body with moves designed to lift and tone. It’s the perfect mix of fun and fire.

Preschool Craft Time (3Y-5Y) | Mondays at 5:15 p.m.

Join a member of our Child, Youth and Family team to make things with your very own hands. A different craft project each week for creative minds!

Gym and Swim (6Y-9Y) | Tuesdays at 5 p.m.

A fun opportunity to enjoy a Gym and Pool combination program with a variety of land and water activities. All participants must bring active footwear for the gym and a swimsuit and towel for the pool. The program consists of 50 minutes in the gym and 50 minutes in the pool. Program leaders will transition groups from the gym to the pool and supervise changing into swimsuits. Drop off in gym, pick up on pool deck. Parent or caregiver participation is not required.

Parent and Me (0Y-5Y) | Fridays at 5:30 p.m.

A program for parents and young children to gather in the water to learn fun activities and games, play, swim, and sing along with other parents and children of the same age. Our swimming instructors host the activities.

Aqua Fit

Mondays at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., Wednesdays at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.:

  • June 2 and 4: Aqua Zumba and Aqua Fit (a mix of dance and traditional aqua fitness exercises)
  • June 9 and 11: Aqua fit ‘80s dance party
  • June 16 and 18: Aqua fit ‘70s classic rock party
  • June 23 and 25: Aqua Power and Flow (aqua power for 25 mins and 20 mins of gentle aqua yoga)

Tuesday, June 3 at 5:30 p.m.: Aquatics games with a variety of equipment. One day only.

Thursday, June 5 at 5:30 p.m.: Aqua fitness class that will take you back to the ’70s! One day only.

Bootcamp | Mondays at 7 p.m.

An intense, full-body workout designed to build strength and improve overall fitness. This class challenges participants with variety, speed, drills, and cardio segments with very special themes.

Cycle Fit

Get your legs pumping with this indoor cycling class set to themed energetic music.

HIIT | Wednesdays at 5 p.m.

High intensity interval training. This high intensity workout provides both cardiovascular and strength challenges by alternating short periods of intense exercise with recovery periods. Push yourself as hard as you can for a short interval, then move gently for the next interval. This method reaps maximum gain with maximum efficiency.

Cardio Bomba​​​ | Saturdays at 9:15 a.m.

Get ready to sweat and party in Cardio Bomba! This high-energy class combines fun, heart-pumping dance moves with cardio drills set to a lively mix of Latin and international beats. It’s a fitness celebration where you’ll torch calories, improve your endurance, and have a blast while moving to the rhythm. Core and Glutes​ | Tuesdays at 7 a.m.

Strengthen your center and sculpt your backside in our Core and Glutes class! This focused workout targets your abs, obliques, lower back, and glutes with a mix of bodyweight exercises, resistance training, and functional moves. Whether you're building stability, toning up, or boosting performance, this class is all about core control and booty power​

High Intensity Resistance Training​ | Mondays at 7 a.m.

Challenge your strength and stamina with high-intensity resistance training! This class combines powerful resistance exercises with minimal rest to maximize muscle building, fat burning, and endurance. Ride and Tone​​ | Thursdays at 6:45 p.m.

Get the best of both worlds with Ride and Tone! This combo class starts with an energizing cycling session to boost your heart rate and burn calories, followed by off-the-bike strength training to tone and sculpt your entire body. It’s the perfect mix of cardio and resistance for a balanced, full-body workout that keeps you moving and motivated!

Step and Tone​ | Tuesdays at 6:45 p.m.

Step up your fitness with Step and Tone! This class combines the classic step aerobics moves with body-toning exercises to sculpt and strengthen your entire body. Super Ball and Super Core​ | Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

Get ready to strengthen and sculpt with Super Ball and Super Core! This class uses stability balls to challenge your balance, engage your core, and tone your entire body. Focus on strengthening your abs, back, and glutes through dynamic, core-centric exercises that improve posture, flexibility, and stability—while having a blast.​

Tabata Step​​ | Wednesdays at 7 a.m.

Themed Young at Heart – Stage and Screen​​ | Mondays at 8:45 a.m.

Step into the spotlight with our Stage and Screen-themed fitness class on Mondays and sweat, stretch, and shine as you move to iconic hits from Broadway musicals and blockbuster movies. Whether you're channelling your inner starlet or action hero, this class blends cardio, dance, and toning in a performance-worthy workout that’s as entertaining as it is effective

Young at Heart: Bars and Balls​ | Fridays at 8:45 a.m.

Stay strong, balanced, and full of energy with Young at Heart: Bars and Balls! June is Pride Month. Come celebrate with us at this family-friendly event and tie-dye clothing or materials you bring from home. Learn facts about the history of Pride Month. 2SLGBTQIA+ and allies are welcome.

Gym ‘n' Jam (10Y-12Y) | June 20, 4:15 p.m.

Join us for an evening of basketball followed by a basketball movie (Space Jam). Y staff will start with basketball skills and games, then move on to the Youth Zone and watch Bugs Bunny do the same thing you did. Popcorn is included. Booking is required.

Tae Kwon Do (13Y+) | June 5, 6:15 p.m.
